How can I get a particular cell value when i click on a row?

I am using datatable ,where I have 1 column with name Requirements which is a json string with key value pairs.
When I click on the row the class name changes as =odd selected /even selected.
I want to know how can get this Cell value alone in a string ?

Also the column position may change as I have option to add and remove columns .I am not using Editor.
