JS Object Datasource and column definitions

I have a JS object as data source, one of the columns is just a button and not connected to a field on the object.
To leave a empty row in the options.aoColumns array does not help, how can I fix this?

Note: I use the knockout binding for Datatables

Use sDefaultContent for the "empty" button column (or put the button HTML in sDefaultContent :-) ).
