Performance tuning

Hello there.

Iam using the dataTables with default configuration. My problem is that iam using a huge amount of data.
There are round about 10000 rows i want to add to the dataTable.
When i do so, the loading process of the page is very very slow. ~ Over 1 Minute.

Can anybody of you tell me how i can speed it up?
Or should i use normal tables?

I would like to refresh this problem. Does anybody know how to speed up dataTables if there are more less 10 000 rows?
