Detailed view of a record and print if desired

I am new to datatables and am wondering if there is an option for selecting a row and displaying detailed information about the record with the option to print said record in a report? Say I have a users table and want to click a user and get detailed information about that user that isn't available on the initial grid. I would like the option to print the detailed view of the record as well. Thanks

That isn't a built in option for DataTables, but it could readily be added. I'd approach the problem in exactly the same way as if you weren't using DataTables - a link or something that opens a lightbox or a new window for printing, with the detailed information in it.
