bug in 1.6 release

i updated a webpage with jquery 1.4 and datatables 1.6 (from 1.32 and 1.56) with no other code changes and some of the striping on my html table is off. I have started seeing a few rows that are the same color (not alternating). i revert back to 1.3.2 and 1.5.6 and everything works fine so it does seem related to this latest release. is this a known issue?

How very odd! I've not come across that myself. Perhaps you could post a link to a page showing the problem? These two pages suggest that the classes are okay, since they render as expected:
