fnFindCellRowNodes/ fnDisplayRow and bServerside:true ?

I'm trying to convert an existing project to use server-side paging to improve performance. The only part I can't figure out is how to replicate fnFindCellRowNodes combined with fnDisplayRow to jump to a page that has a specific value in the row. If someone can explain the logistics of it I can figure out the code, I just don't know where to start. Thanks for any insight.
