Table Header not formatted properly on jquery dialog

When placing the data table on a jQuery dialog, with sScrollY defined, the header gets a width=100px, whereas the body has width= 100%, resulting in misalignment. Upon resizing the dialog the widths get corrected to 100% for both. It also adds horizontal scroll even though it is not specified. Can you suggest a work around this bug? Thanks.
