How to internalize/localize sPaginationType:buttons_input

I am using the sPaginationType:buttons_input where the pagination appears as "Prev" & "Next" and there is an option of entering the page number one would want to browse to. Is there a way to localize/I18n this text? I have tried to follow the examples here http://datatables.net/plug-ins/i18n#how_to but the oLanguage only works if the sPaginationType is "full_numbers" as described here http://datatables.net/usage/i18n. And when I set the sPaginationType to "full_numbers" the localization works fine, but am in need of using the sPaginationType "buttons_input". Any ideas on how to do this?
