Table within table

I implemented a datatable with a button to show details. When clicked, it shows a table that results from a query.
I tried to apply datatable to this table and i get the error aLayout[0] is undefined. Is this a limitation to datatables?

Firefox gives this error but works in ie and chrome. Strange
