[SUGGESTION] to datatables's site

Hey Allan,

What do you think about enabling users to comment at each examples/usage page?
It would totally kick ass, both for us (help with easier access) and for you (more content would be indexed by crawlers).

What do you (and the users here) think?

It's an interesting idea - thanks for suggesting it. It's not something I've really thought about adding to this site before as I quite like the way it currently works. When some one such as yourself has an idea for how to make the documentation clearer then a post here in the forum to make me aware of it and able to act on it seems to be working quite well, and has lead to a number of enhancements to the site already.

I'd also be concerned that the comments would become a forum for questions themselves, as can be witnessed in some of the sites which implement this kind of thing. And some of them might go out of date as DataTables evolves.

It's certainly an idea to bare in future should it become suitable in future (and it might very well do so as DataTables grows), but at this time, I think I'd prefer to keep it as it is.

Hi,

I have to agree with Allan. The example pages could become a mess. They are not intended to be blog pages with user's comments.
i think the search functionality of the forums suffice to retrieve any help needed.
