is there a way to limit column content through? sumthn lyk substr(string, 0, 90)

I need a table to work something like that of an email inbox page wherein you can only preview few of the content (strings of texts) of a message.. or any theme suggestions for I need to create a page looking like email sites...

Use mRender if you want to limit the length of a string. Just get for its length and if its longer than a given value truncate it and add ellipsis.
