Filtering for a sentence and not multiple words

But, as I understand from the comments in that post, there is no feature/flexibility in DataTable to switch between a sentence search and multiple words search.

Has this been rectified in the latest version of DT? If yes, could someone please point me to the same?

You can enable and disable smart filtering using the fnFilter API (smart filtering is what does the multi-word matching): http://datatables.net/api#fnFilter .

I had tried this earlier but was making a mistake which I figured out today. It works perfectly now.
