Client filtering while using server side processing

Hello,

Could someone tell me whether it's possible to filter datatable on the client side while having server side processing ("bServerSide": true). I didn't find a way to achieve this. It still sends request to the server. I understand that on client it will filter only the loaded data (one page of ten for example) but it's ok.
