Does anyone have the same problem? I NEVER get any results using the google search box at the top of the forum questions page. No matter what obvious datatable term I serch for, it still gives back nothing? I'm using chrome and I don't see any errors in dev tools.

It works for me. Give some examples of things you couldn't find.
aoData,sAjaxSource,bSortable i can go on and on
About 25,900 results (0.18 seconds) - for bsortable
About 8,020 results (0.24 seconds) - for sajaxsource
I'm using Firefox, but I can't imagine why the browser would make a difference. It's not like these are pornographic words....
How weird. I also get no results with Chrome. Chrome doesn't even say "No results" which Firefox does when I force it to look for something I'm sure isn't there.
What's even weirder is - why hasn't anybody else mentioned this?
Actually Camainc mentioned it in here:
http://www.datatables.net/forums/discussion/comment/60298/#Comment_60298
but there seems to be no answer.
Thanks for flagging this up. I'll look into it tomorrow.

I was having the same issues here today. But everything appears perfectly in IE. IE returns a window asking to load secure content or all content, choosing all content loads the results
And even weirder is that it works properly on chrome on my laptop
Seems to work okay for me in Chrome. Edit - I speculated if it might be AdBlock stopping it - that wasn't the case:
The problem was that Google Custom Search only works over http. Mixing the protocol types causes some browsers to not show the iframe content. I've just put in a workaround to get around the issue and the site search should work over both http and https now!

No adblock here, Only works in ie at work, not chrome or firefox. Works fine in all at home . Have same security software and settings at home and at work.
I think my edit might have overlapped your reply. Could you possibly try again now?
