Safari 5 JSON issue in V1.6 and V1.7 Beta 3

Hello!

I have dataTables working correctly in IE Version 6-8, FireFox 3.63, and Safari 4. HOWEVER, upon installing Safari 5, I now get a JSON error returned using DataTables 1.7 Beta 3. Converting back to DataTables 1.6 does NOT solve the problem.

Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

Does this example work for you: http://datatables.net/examples/data_sources/ajax.html . Does the error console say anything? I'm using Safari 5 myself as my main browser and it appears to be okay.

Thank you for replying - seems like I for got to put "sType": "html" for one of the JSON fields and this was causing Safari 5 to not interpret the JSON. Strange though as all the other browsers (Safari 4, IE 6, 7, 8 and FireFox) interpreted it without that setting.

Excellent product you have here. You should be very proud of your work!!!
