Scroller and continuous loading

Hey, I love the way Scroller works with large server side data sets, and have implemented this successfully,
but If possible I would like to implement one more feature.

Currently the plugin loads more results based on when you scroll according to a few parameters,
what would work better for my situation would be for the first page to come up quickly so the page is loaded,
but then to continue to load more results in the background so they are there waiting for the user when they scroll.
Has anyone accomplished something like this?
