How to properly paste code examples in the forum

Hi,

What should be done to have code properly pasted/formated (with syntax highlighting and line numbers) in the forum?
I have tried triple simple quote with js and ending with triple simple quote, without success.

Forget it, it actually works, but it does not display it right after posting it.

Aye, I was fussing with that for 20 minutes the first time I tried it. Editing... re-editing... re-re-re-re-re-editing. Then I gave up. Came back later and, to my surprise, it looked right! heh
