Visualforce - form input is lost on pagination

Hi All,

If i enter a value on 2 different pages (using pagination) of a datatables form and submit the input, only the input on the form currently being displayed is being sent to the controller. Does anyone know of a workaround for this? I saw one snipped about putting the information in a hidden div that could be submitted later but i didn't really understand how that would work. If anyone has any input it would be greatly appreciated - thanks!
