Problem executing datatble on IE 8

I implemented the data table in .net 4.5 using MVC. I am able to execute it successfully on Google Chrome but showing some error message while executing it on IE 8.
Not sure whether the error I faced is related to Data table or .net 4.5 as both are new to me.
Error Description:

0x800a138f - Microsoft JScript runtime error: 'pingInterval' is null or not an object

Also the version of jquery used is "jquery-1.10.2"
