Alternative style for page length options?

Hi there!

Is there an (easy) possibility to change the style of the page length options, like from the now used <select> box to a direkt link style (e.g. 5 | 10 | 50 | all) (similar to alternative pagination styles)? Basicly this question was already asked over at stackoverflow (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/12727649/show-jquery-datatables-alengthmenu-as-a-links-rather-than-select-dropdown), but I don't want to modify dataTables code for obvious reasons.

Yes indeed - this plug-in in fact will do exactly that. It uses the old style 1.9- API - I should really update it, but it will still work.
