Hi, I guess this is easily fix for next version. Chrome works fine, I'm using the latest 33.0.2 version of Firefox and DataTables 1.10.3

It is not a bug, but rather how Firefox implement the
<input type="search">HTML5 tag.Webkit derived browsers put in an
xto clear a value. Firefox does not. IE puts in thexevent in nonsearchinput fields. JSFiddle example.There is discussion about this in a Firefox bug if you want to add input there.
