Using the example you provided to select multiple rows, selecting on even works, however, selecting an odd row does not highlight. I have verified that the selected attribute as added to the row as expected.
Anyone know how to fix this behavior?

(Also, I tried to use live to replicate it, but was unable to get bootstrap and the correct version of the datatables bootstrap added).

Can you modify that to match your case which doesn't work?
