Smart search whith "serverSide" SSP

i am trying to do a smart search with "serverside" but i read what this is not posible, anyone knows a method to do this search?, how can i modify the script "ssp.php" to do this posible?

Give me an example if anyone knows the answer

Have a look at this thread: http://datatables.net/forums/discussion/3343/server-side-processing-and-regex-search-filter/p1 . It predates the SSP class, but shows how you might modify the class to do what you need.
