Drag and drop column at start of another column with datatable

I am using Datatable with ColReorder extention APIs for drag and drop feature of column in table. What I see that a column is highlighted when more than half the size of the column is traversed or when pointed to the next column. Due to this it looks like Dropped column is dropped a place before where it is supposed to be.

Is there any way so that a column can be dropped to a initial point of the next column.
