Sort by image attr

I have a table with a column that is just image tags. I want to sort on that column according to the image file name. When I sort on it, they don't sort right. Is there a way to do that? Thanks

You need to use a sorting plug-in which will get the attribute you want from the text. Here is an example which can be customised for image tags and whatever attribute it is you want: http://datatables.net/plug-ins/sorting#hidden_title .
