When we search <a or anything with < character it shows a error message.

    Please can you link to a test case showing the issue, as per the forum rules. You should be able to search for < in DataTables, and you will see you can do so in the examples on this site without error (hence the need for a test case).

    You should also note that by default, DataTables will strip HTML, so if you are search for HTML tags you will need to take that into account.
