Problem with ajax and backslash

Hello,

I'm using coldfusion jsStringFormat function on the server side which returns a js safe string but when the aaData contains and escaped character like: O\'Leary
it throws an error that the json data is not correct

Any ideas

Run your JSON through http://jsonlint.com - that will point out where any errors might be.
