Exclude column from ColVis

Is there a way to use aoColumnDef to indicate that a column should be excluded from ColVis? Using oColVis and aiExclude seems a bit roundabout.

No - oColVis and aiExclude is the intended method for this.

I chose this method for plug-ins rather that extending the built in functionality because I believed that it makes those options look like they are in DataTables itself, rather than as a plug-in. Perhaps the wrong decision to make, but that's how it's set up at the moment :-)
