Could anyone tell me what is free in datatable and what is paid?

    You strictly only need to pay for Editor, DataTables itself is free to use.

    That is correct. DataTables and all of its extensions, with the exception of Editor, are MIT licensed and free for you to use as you wish, as long as you keep the copyright header in place.

    Editor is commercial software, that provides additional features to DataTables.
