Custom Date Format Sort

I am using the date format dd-M-yy (10-Dec-10) in a column and want to be able to create a plugin to sort for this. I am not quite sure as to how to pull this off since I just started using DataTables.net...btw...this rocks.

Any help would be appreciated.

hi everyone, i got the same problem, i'm trying to sort my array using the date format dd-M-yyyy (10-Dec-2010).

I tried following this example http://datatables.net/examples/plug-ins/sorting_sType.html but it doesn't seem to work...
Is it the good example to follow or should I read another one ?
