Dynamic tables

I've been using reload on a change event from a dropdown to change the date used to pull data in a MVC project, which is excellent. But I want to now select different reports with a dropdown and have dynamic column headings for each table. Can I reload with different parameters, or do I need to delete and add a new datatable.
