Filter Prior to loading

It's really helpful.

I'm loading a list of people and values from a .txt maybe later this will be from a .xml But it'll never be a SQL, because I don't have access to one.

I would like to filter before loading the TXT or XML. my complete idea is to make a filter, that only the logged user (I will have the user Name or ID) see their own values.

Can this be done?
