IE8 mouse events slow

Hello,

I am currently using DataTables v1.7.5 and I have a problem specifically with IE8 and interaction with the table.

IE8 renders any sort of interaction with the table slowly when it has grown above 100 rows or so and I am wondering if there is something I can disable to make user interaction smoother.

This problem does not happen with Firefox, Chrome, IE8 in IE7 mode, or IE8 in compatibility mode. Just pure IE8.

This is with an out of the box configuration of DataTables v1.7.5 with zero initialization.

I'd like to add that the slow interaction also happens with Highcharts (www.highcharts.com). If I have a small table, say around 40 rows or so, the table interactions are quick as well as Highcharts. But when the table gets larger, both Highcharts and DataTables slow down.

Maybe this is something jQuery related?
