Button toolbar not working

Button toolbar not working

Hello,

first of all: nice plugin =)

But unfortunately it does not really want to work. :(

I wanted to make a toolbar like here: http://datatables.net/extras/tabletools/

That is my result: http://4a2.de/pdf.html

Just the Printing-button is working. I even copied the site of your example (1:1) and checked the pathes.

Anyone got an idea what I'm doing wrong?

There must be something different, maybe a path is not correct. On datatables.net it is working, but I do not see the mistake we make ...

Very corious that this is working on chrome ...

Which Software do you mean? DataTables or TableTools and which version exactly?

    Hi folks,

Thanks for the link Christoph - there is certainly something funny going on there. There is another thread somewhere (can't see it right now) which points out a similar issue. The buttons work absolutely fine in a webkit browser, but are failing to respond to the click event for some reason.

Christoph - would you be willing to help me debug this a little bit, as I can't actually reproduce it myself on my local copy. If you could send me a message using the contact form - http://datatables.net/contact - I'll send you a version of the SWF with some trace statements which will let me see what is going on (or not hopefully!).

    Regards,
    Allan

Thanks for the mail - I'm reasonably certain that the issue is due to your using the version of ZeroClipboard which came with TableTools 1, rather than the version which came with TableTools 2. If you switch them, things should start working again. I'll see if I can put in a check for this in 2.0.1.

The reason is that the buttons use flash. You need to allow access for Flash to work locally: http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager04.html
