Hiding table data using individual select column filtering (HELP)

I was trying to recreate a sortable table similar to the one on the website "showmetheparts.com". I'm using the individual column filtering example (using select menus), but I'd like for the data to not show up in the table view until the filter menus on the bottom have been fully populated by the end-user. Is this possible? I am a bit of a javascript nub, but I would very much appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction to do this. Much thanks in advance.
