works in Firefox but not IE

I am trying to set up a customer list using data tables.
I'm using jquery to fill a div with the results of the php that produces the table.
It works in Firefox 3.6.13 but not in IE 8.
But, it does work in IE 8 when I just call the php that produces the table.

I'm not getting any errors, the div is just empty.
I'm using DataTables 1.7.5 & FixedHeader 2.0.4

Any ideas what I need to do? Thank you!
