Add a functionality to the search field.

Hi everyone

I'm having a little problem with the search field. Here is my context:
I have a button to export the current content of the table. What I need is when, after a search and the table has no data, the export button is hidden and if the table displays info the button turns visible.
I have been looking in this forum but I didn't find how to call my function from the Search onchange method.

I will appreciate any help
