Custom button for filtering

Hi all,

I have a dropdown menu (bootstrap btn-group) to filter my table by selecting an deselecting items there.
Just to pretty it up a bit, I want to add this dropdown to the build-in datatables-buttons, but I have no idea, how to do it.

As my explanation might be a bit confusing, here you can find an example for what I did:
