Drag and drop files in the editor.

I’m on Mac

I can drag files from finder ok

I can’t drag from web site or email

I have to drag and drop to finder first then drag and drop back to the editor.

That's something that sounds like an OS limitation to me unless you know otherwise? Editor's drag and drop upload feature simply makes use of the HMTL5 drag and drop API.

I booted into windows and it works in there.

On Mac I get this error

If I grag an image from mail I get

Uncaught TypeError: Failed to execute 'readAsDataURL' on 'FileReader': parameter 1 is not of type 'Blob'..
line 4143 column 9

If I drag from a brwoser I see the green drop button, I drop but nothing happens.

I played around again today.
I can drag and drop from emails today ( strange).

It's the same result if I drag from
safari to safari
safari to chrome
Chrome to safari
Chrome to chrome
Also dragging image from whats app
I get one of these error

OR

My workaround is drag files to a temp directory then drag them to the editor.

I'll try experimenting with it, but it sounds like a limitation in the OS. Thanks for letting me know about it.
