How to prevent vertical scrollbar from covering content?

When the table scrolls, the vertical scrollbar covers some of the text in the right-most column. I played with sticking padding-right on various things in the generated datatables elements, but nothing seemed to work.

So... is there a way to add some padding via css to one of the datatables elements to prevent the scrollbar from covering content?
