Problem with v.1.8b2 + FixedColumns and colspan in header

Hi,

I've read the article

http://www.datatables.net/release-datatables/extras/FixedColumns/rowspan.html

in order to implement a datatable with a header that contains colspans like so:

B2 = Rebate group

turnover

id

name

net

rebate %

DB %

outcome net %

data 1

data 1

data 1

data 1

data 1

data 1

data 2

data 2

data 2

data 2

data 2

data 2

However, I haven't been able to modify the example to work with colspans instead of rowspan. Is there any forum article or example I've missed or can anyone provide a working example on this? :-)

FixedColumns 2.0.0 (the current release) is not compatible which DataTables 1.8 for complex headers, as noted in the 1.8 upgrade notes: http://datatables.net/upgrade/1.8 . What you need is the latest development version of FixedColumns (available on the download page) and the example has been updated: https://github.com/DataTables/FixedColumns/blob/master/rowspan.html .

    Hi Allan,

great! Thanks for the info. It seems to work now, at least somehow. I've made a screenshot showing that the design is kind of broken (look at the different width of fixed column header and it the content).

Would be great if you know what I am doing wrong.

    Best regards
