expand / collapse multiple Filter criteria area

hello,

based on this nice example

i'm looking for a way, how is it possible to implement a extended search area with some more search filter.

the idea is, to have a linkbutton "extended Search" to the right of the search textfield.
if someone click the linkbutton, a hidden search filter area (with textfields) will expand and shown below the default search textfield.
