Loading lots of records (>10000)

Hi,
I'm considering to use this jQuery datagrid system, but my needs is for a db table could contain lots of records (now are more than 8000 and counting...).
I would like to know how the data are entered in the system: all in one calling, or a calling per page? If first, extracting 10000 records and adding to table means wait more than 10 seconds, too much :(
Any help?
