how to remake the search for a date?

I've implemented the script from this article "https://datatables.net/examples/api/multi_filter.html" in my table, but I have 4 more date fields: "Start" "Finish" "created" "updated". How can I make these fields search by date range? But so that the rest of the fields for the text also work.
