Mixing Individual column filtering using "input" elements and "selects"

hi there...

i've got a question to the foliwing examples:

Individual column filtering (using "input" elements)
Individual column filtering (using "select" elements)

how could i mix this filtermethods? i would like to set selects on column 3,4,6 and inputs to column 1,2,12 ...

ok, again:

i'm trying to add two filters:
#1 http://datatables.net/release-datatables/examples/api/multi_filter_select.html
#2 http://datatables.net/release-datatables/examples/api/multi_filter.html

1st problem: i cant adress the columns like its done with TARGET for lets say ColumnDefs -> VISIBLE
2nd problem: hidden columns do not work if i even use only one of that filters. if a column is hidden wich is sorted by this filter the filter in footer it self does not hide.

my english is to bad to wrtie much clearer... sorry... hopefully you now understand what i mean.
