The Forum "Logout" link isn't working for me (Chrome, if relevant). It just shows a link to the current page.

That's odd, it worked for me. I clicked on cog above the "Ask a Question" button, and the last option there is "Sign out". Is there another path to logout?

I've always used "Your account | Logout" at the top of the page. It's definitely not working now.

Right enough - sorry about that. I "fixed" something else in the forum admin panel the other day and apparently broke that. Fixed properly now .
