Sorting listener applying

Hello, in my dataTable i have structure like this:

title 1title 2...
...

When i work with v.1.7.6 sorting listener was applying to th cells in thead,
but now when i'm upgrading to v.1.8.2 sorting listener applies to td cells in thead.
So, how can i apply it to th?
