File upload seems to misreport upload file size

Hi People!
Just checking around in case someone has a simple answer.
We have a data editor grid used as a simple gallery. When we try to upload image files larger than about 7M size we get an error reporting that we have exceeded server limit of 50 M

Other php application seem to report correctly on the same server but allow uploads up to the server limit.

Appreciate any tips or comments
