7 digit, comma separated number sorting

I have a table that has numbers ranging from 7 to 6 digits, all separated by commas (1,000,000; 100,000) and the sorting is not working. I can sort 6 digit comma separated numbers using the numeric-comma pug in, but it doesn't seem to work when the numbers have 2 commas in it.
