Exporting NULL

When data is exported via Table Tools, the word NULL actually appears when there is a null value present.

Is there a way to export NULL values as 'blanks'?

Which version of TableTools are you using? If you try using the nightly (from http://datatables.net/download ) I believe that this problem should be fixed :-)
